Dubai [Day 16]

"Do not free a camel of the burden of his hump; you may be freeing him from being a camel."
-G. K. Chesterton

Day 100 - April 10

People often ask me- "What's the middle-east like?"

To be honest, I have very little experience with the local culture here. Spending the majority of my time in the futuristic city of Dubai; there isn't much of a difference between here and home. That being said, I had the opportunity to head out into the desert yesterday and check out a camel farm. Doing a little 'dune bashing' along the way we stopped to check out group of four camels spotted just before the farms. The above camel lagged behind and as it grazed on some tasty looking vegetation I snapped a couple photos. This was my favorite from the series as I found it captured the camels awkward body proportions and gangly legs.
