It feels good to be back.
Day 85 - Mar. 26
Dreading the overwhelming city and the harsh desert sun, I'm actually happy to be back in Dubai. Yesterday wasn't too stressful, however there was some work to be done. Sanding and replacing some seats in a dragonboat was Brian and I's first task together. Making the mistake of sanding fiberglass, then rubbing sun screen on myself I enjoyed uncomfortable fiberglass splinters for the rest of the day.
After working for a bit, we traveled over to one of my favorite places to train. Doing a two hour work out with a handful of familiar faces, it was nice to be back on the water. With only one practice tomorrow night, it looks like we'll have a bit of free time tomorrow to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep!
