I love starting my daily blog post with a quote. Especially one that seems to fit so perfectly with the potd(s).

Last night I was out practicing with low light and experimenting with a couple different settings. Unfortunately I didn't have a tripod with me, but I'm still satisfied with the outcome. The photo above was a bit of a struggle to capture due to a large wooden fence. After finding a better vantage point, (on top of an unstable bus shelter) I managed to create this photo.

The series of photos below were all taken on one of my favorite streets in the city, Spring Garden Rd. The retail heart of Halifax, this is one of the only streets in the city that never sleeps.
